totally tasty vegan food!
CatooVegaClub is a creative vegan caterer out of the ordinary: her dishes taste of life, they are colorful and absolutely delicious.
The brief: to design a custom bilingual WordPress site for a fantastic vegan caterer.
For this custom WordPress website design project, I was given complete carte blanche! A great gift to create a 100% CatooVegaClub design!
I started by looking for fonts that matched the 50s-60s style of CatooVegaClub’s branding and then integrated the photos, illustrations and texts provided by Catoo.
The interactive menu component – which was done by a programmer – was integrated into the custom WordPress site. For me, the goal was to create a WordPress site that would be easy to manage in the future, since Catoo takes care of its own custom WordPress site! So I focused on using native WordPress layout blocks and added a few with a plugin created by StudioPress. The goal is always to make the layout easy, so Catoo can change the blocks if she ever wants to.
Finally, as it’s my mission, I created 100% customized training videos for Catoo to be autonomous in the future.
It’s a very simple site, a bit funky and very pretty. It was a real pleasure to work with Catoo and I’m pretty proud of the result!
